April 27, 2007

Emma is 7 mo old now. It won’t be long and she will be a year old and not a infant anymore. I can’t believe how fast time goes when you want to hold on to it tight.

Emma is so much fun. She is almost to crawling. She gets on her hands and knees and rocks back and forth, then pushes herself forward onto her belly, then pulls herself with her arms to get where she wants to go. She does it very well, you can’t leave her alone for more then a moment in a room.

Jordan, Brianna and Emma are in Casper this weekend. I have three days without cuddling my little Emma and I can’t believe how much I miss her already. She is having a good time though. Uncle Casey and her Daddy took her up on the mountain today. They said she was sleeping through most of it though. I think her Mommy was going to take her to the mall this evening though. She doesn’t sleep through shopping.

Tara found out how fun it is to have a baby around the house. I sat Emma on her blanket in the living room and gave her a graham cracker. Tara laid right in front of her, never taking her eyes off that graham cracker. She couldn’t wait for Emma to be done so she could clean up the crumbs… and Emma’s face! Emma just laughs when Tara licks her.

Next weekend Kevin and I are going to Jackson for a NECA meeting. It means another 3 days of no cuddles with Emma. I teased the kids, saying I was going to have to take her with me to Jackson, but they won’t go for it. Jordan only gets to see her on the weekends with working down in Casper during the week. I would never take his time with her. She is a very much a Daddy’s girl.
