No Way Grandma!

Emmalyne is loving the warm weather. We waited a long time for it, it seems. She heard me one day say “I don’t like snow, it makes me cranky” When Grandpa came in she asked him if he liked snow. He said that he loved snow, it could snow a couple more feet even. She looked at him and said “I don’t like snow” He asked why and she answered “It makes me CRANKY…. GRRRR” putting her little fists up. It was so cute.
Emma enjoys learning how to spell everyone’s name and always asks how to spell this or that. She asked me one day how to spell my name and I told her “S H A R I” She repeated “S H A R Me” What a funny little thing she is.
She spent the weekend with Cassie who always spoils her as much as she can in that short time. Cassie told Emma she could pick out some candy at Walgreen’s and she picked out the gummy spearmint leaves. Cassie kept telling her that she wouldn’t like those but Emma insisted she wanted them. Cassie said she took one and licked it, giving Cassie a funny look, then finally took a bite which was spit out immediately. Emma handed the candy over to Cassie and told her “These pickles taste gross!” I bet they did taste gross if she was expecting the sour pickle taste!
Emma has been spending a lot of time over in Hulett with her mom, grandma Marla and grandma Neil. She has been having a great time but I miss her terribly when they are over there. They go over there while Jordan is out of town.
Jarrod and Skye are getting married and so Emma will have a new little cousin 4 months older then her. Bailey is a cute little girl who is as tomboyish as Emma is princess. They play so well together and have so much fun together, it is so good for both of them. Bailey is going to be a big sister in January. I keep telling Emma to tell Brianna that she needs a little brother or sister too. Brianna keeps saying NO… can you believe she isn’t ready to have another when she has such a perfect little one??
