Emma's shiney red shirt she had to have out of material she found at Walmart

Emma was helping Grandpa putting in boxes. He handed her the pencil and
told her to draw around the box he was holding up. She preceeded to draw a large circle
around the box. Then she handed him the philips screwdriver and said "here grandpa, here is your little fella screwdriver" So funny

Emma colored eggs then we made them into monsters.
Hairy eggs aren't fun to peel!

Easter was really nice. We had everyone here for dinner.. Well we had Grandma Eda and Grandpa Don, Jarrod and Skye and the kids and Brianna and Emma and Jordan. I was expecting much more so I cooked 21 pounds of ham. We had loads of ham so I sent some back with Brianna and some with Eda. Skye and Jarrod left before I was putting the left over’s away or they would have gotten some too.
Brianna and I took Bailey and Emma to Chuck E. Cheese then to see the Easter Bunny. They had such a good time. They danced with Chuck E Cheese and played the games. Bailey even made a home run on the baseball game. As much as they loved Chuck E Cheese, they loved the Easter Bunny even more. They spent a lot of time entertaining him while we were getting the pictures made up. Then we shopped and played in the play center at the mall. I do believe they had a good day and was very tired when they got home.
Emma is so funny. She makes me laugh with all the things she says and does. Today when she heard the noon whistle she yelled “OH NO! Call the COPS! Call the POST CARDS!!” Of course she meant “call the coast guard” Then she told me a story that she made up about Scooby doo going to the north pole and seeing Santa Clause dead and he had to call the cops. She goes into a off the wall but descriptive story. I think she is going to be a director or writer and be famous. She is a little ham too so acting might be something she really likes also.
One thing she likes to do after we watch a video before going to sleep when she spends the night is to hear stories of when I was a little girl spending the night at my grandmas or stories about her daddy when he was little and also stories of when I was small. She really got into this last night when I was telling her that when I was little we didn’t have any cell phones at all! She looked confused and said “but how did you call people?” I told her we used regular house phones that had cords and you had to dial the phone number instead of push buttons. That wasn’t so off since I do have a corded phone here but then I told her that when I was a kid we didn’t have any DVD’s or video movies! Her eyes grew large and she asked “but how did you watch movies? “ I told her that we would have to go to the movie theaters and some of those theaters were outside and we would sit in the car to watch the movie. We would go in and get popcorn and pop and candy and sit in the car. What an amazing life we had..lol Wait until she finds out that Grandma Eda and Grandpa Don had to go outside to the outhouse to go potty cuz they didn’t have running water or toilets in their house when they first got married. I will save that for stories tonight before sleeping though. Makes you wonder what they will tell their kids of what they didn’t have while growing up… “we didn’t have any robots to clean our house, our moms had to clean it themselves!” Wouldn’t that be nice?
